Google offers more storage for your Gmail account

August 10, 2007

So you can now buy more storage space for your Google Mail should you need to. At present the free service seems to offer 2.8 GB of space and you know that’s all pretty cool but they are now Google are offering you the option of an extra 6GB for £20 per year, a good bargain I think, whilst, to the other extreme 250 GB will set you back $500 per annum. Can anyone imagine using up that amount of space? Well I guess some of you may. With a Google shared storage plan, you won’t have to worry about deleting files, pictures, or emails. After purchasing a storage plan, some of your individual Google services (e.g. email and photos) will share a single new storage space. Anyway it went live yesterday and if you wish to purchase just go to your Google Manage Storage page and go from there.
